The Genesis

One Strange Gallery was conceived by digital artist and graphic designer David Jiménez as a space for presenting his creative work, shaped by imagination, symbolism, design and a contemporary visual language. Born in Cuernavaca, Morelos, and raised in Mexico City, his artistic approach draws inspiration from ancient cultures as well as modern aesthetics. Created through mixed digital media techniques, each work is developed with meticulous attention to composition, texture, and atmosphere, with some pieces involving more than 200 hours of digital work. Each creation is intended to offer more than ornament—bringing character, meaning, and a lasting presence to the spaces it inhabits.

Produced to museum-quality standards, each work is created using mineral pigment inks on museum-grade, acid-free 100% cotton substrates. Each piece is available either artisan-mounted on selected Canadian poplar wood in a premium shadow box frame or stretched on a premium canvas frame crafted from Canadian poplar wood, chosen for its lightness, stability, and reliable performance.
